4 ways Covid-19 has had an influence on Interior Design trends

1. No more open floors  

Open floor plans used to be a hit in the office. Not any longer. Now it is seen as a sort of safety hassart in terms of spreading the virus. Small offices and Zoom rooms are in and wanted. During the pandemic people realized that they didn't have to travel hundreds of miles for a meeting – it could just be done over a Zoom meeting. 

2. Home offices need an upgrade

Some people have gone back to the regular offices while others have decided to continue working from home. That means more decorating at home. That means adding wood panels for better sound while in meetings. That means a new desk setup for all your things. It is time to make the home office as comfortable as the regular office. 

3. Uplifting and vibrant designs 

Designs with light and uplifting colors have experienced a boom in sales during and following the pandemic. And it makes sense if you ask the professional interior designers. People want uplifting designs. Designs that brighten up their day and give them back the energy they felt had been missing.

4. Decorating our homes are more important than ever 

After having spent so much time at home, and actually having been forced to stay at home, we have realized how important our interior design at home is. Just as people have since realized the comfort of staying at home and now want their homes to be decorated like that as well. 

So even though the pandemic has had a negative effect on many things, it has really made us appreciate our homes and made us want to spend more time there. It has made us comfortable at home and made us realize how much we can do at home with just a few changes to our interior design.
