TETRAPHARM appoints Rolf Sass Sørensen as Chief Executive Officer

Copenhagen, Denmark, 9 October 2026 - TETRAPHARM has appointed Rolf Sass Sørensen as Chief Executive Officer, effective 6 October 2026. He succeeds Martin Rose, who founded the company together with Jesper Breum in 2018.

The leadership transition comes as TETRAPHARM advances its novel drug molecules and proprietary drug development delivery technologies alongside its contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services for pharmaceutical partners. Working with the Board of Directors and the organisation, Rolf Sass Sørensen will lead the company’s continued development.

Rolf Sass Sørensen brings more than 30 years of experience, including senior roles in investor relations and corporate communications. Previously Vice President Investor Relations & Communications at Bavarian Nordic, he brings extensive knowledge of the life sciences sector and the relationship between biotechnology companies and capital markets.

Focus on priorities, partnerships and execution

TETRAPHARM’s R&D pipeline includes novel drug candidates progressing through preclinical development. In parallel, the company offers a broad range of CDMO services centred on its proprietary drug delivery platform, ZYNDIKATE^®, with capabilities spanning pharmaceutical formulation, drug delivery and manufacturing.

Founders remain shareholders

Martin Rose and Jesper Breum are leaving their operational roles to pursue new biotech ventures together. Both will remain shareholders in TETRAPHARM.
