Successful collaboration in the Nordics and Germany forms foundation for accelerating digital transformation in food and beverage, distribution, manufacturing and fashion industries

Infor, a global leader in industry-specific cloud software, and Columbus, a leading company in digital transformation, announce a strategic partnership in the Benelux region. Building on a proven track record of success in the United States, Northern Europe and Germany, this collaboration aims to drive business value in the food and beverage, distribution, manufacturing, fashion and retail sectors.

Digital innovation is high on the agenda for many organisations in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. With this collaboration, Columbus brings 30 years of implementation expertise combined with Infor's advanced cloud technology. Together, they offer a comprehensive approach, from tailored ERP implementations to cutting-edge solutions in AI and process mining.

Proven success in Northern Europe and Germany

The partnership has already delivered strong results in Northern Europe and Germany, where organisations have leveraged Infor CloudSuite to streamline processes and drive innovation. These initiatives have not only optimised operations but have also improved margins, demonstrating the tangible value of this collaboration.

By welcoming Columbus as a strategic partner in Benelux, Infor customers now gain direct access to sector-specific expertise. Whether it’s a food and beverage company maximising inventory management or a manufacturing firm digitising its workflows, the partnership provides practical solutions to industry challenges.

Cloud transition for intimate apparel group Van de Velde

One notable collaboration in the Benelux region is with Van de Velde. The lingerie manufacturer, the fashion company with brands such as Marie Jo, Primadonna and Sarda, has long relied on Infor's ERP system to streamline its production, and distribution processes, particularly in seasonal forecasting and production planning.

"For our cloud transition, we were looking for a partner that is a match both personally and technically," said Sofie Guldemont, Head of IT at Van de Velde. "We found that partner in Columbus, as they can take us a step further in terms of knowledge and quality. In addition, Columbus also thinks about the future with us in terms of standardization and processes. We look forward to the collaboration in the coming years and the opportunities that follow from this to realize our strategic ambitions. The better we align our processes with the wishes of the consumer, the more women we can make happy with the right lingerie."

"The partnership with Columbus aligns perfectly with our growth ambitions in Benelux", said Hein Kivits, VP Benelux at Infor. "The proven business and technology capabilities of Columbus provide our customers with greater flexibility and more ways to unlock the value of our solutions. Together, we’re empowering businesses to embrace AI, machine learning, and process mining, areas central to Infor’s vision and product strategy.”

"The expansion to Benelux marks a significant milestone for us," added Tina Algkvist, Senior Vice President of Business at Columbus. “It strengthens our connection with organisations in this region, where many are ready for the next step in their digital transformation. By working together, we can help them to streamline processes in the value chain, automate production, and improve customer experiences.”
