Charterhouse Holdings plc, a leading supplier of corporate clothing and personalisation solutions, selects Columbus to deploy ERP and B2B eCommerce solutions for dynamic operational visibility and market expansion.

At a glance:

  • Fully integrated ERP solution connects the organisation’s brands, enabling real-time visibility and control of commercial and supply chain operations
  • Charterhouse’s worldwide customer base to benefit from increased sales and marketing capacity through multi-channel enhancements

1 November, 2018 – Columbus, the global digital business services provider, has announced that Charterhouse Holdings is transforming its business operations with dynamic enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and a cloud-based eCommerce platform. The Columbus deployment allows Charterhouse to consolidate real-time data from its multiple brands under a common ERP system and boost sales through a state-of-the-art customer-focused eCommerce portal for its B2B operations.

With a constantly expanding customer base and over 15,000 products to manage, Charterhouse needed an agile system to increase warehousing capabilities and improve its operational visibility. The Columbus deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations allows Charterhouse to connect diverse customer and product portfolios using one ERP system.

The solution introduces additional functionality including enhanced sales forecasting, integrated Business Intelligence and advanced customer relationship management to meet the insight needs of decision-makers across the organisation. The cloud-based Columbus eCommerce solution replaces an AspDotNetStorefront solution to give a more versatile and responsive online experience for customers.

Miles Carter, Chief Executive Officer, Charterhouse Holdings

“The new solution helps us identify emerging business opportunities, increase productivity and provide a more timely, dynamic and personalised service to our customers. The depth of industry knowledge demonstrated by the Columbus team was a key factor in our decision-making process, and we continue to benefit from their training and expertise.”

Simon Charlton, Commercial Director, Columbus UK

“Charterhouse wanted a long-term solution to unify previously separate business processes and bring their data under one roof. The technologies we are putting in place enable Charterhouse to discover new insights through real-time data where they previously couldn’t and scale the whole solution in line with business growth.”
