Micro Matic appoints new CEO

The industrial group Micro Matic will have a new CEO as of January 1, 2024. Lars Gjødsbøl, who comes from a similar role at flooring manufacturer Junckers Industrier in Køge, has been chosen.

Since the departure of Micro Matic's former CEO in the spring, the global supplier of keg couplers, taps and other dispensing equipment has presented record-breaking financial results, surpassing two billion DKK in revenue for the first time. In addition, the acquisition of DSI (Germany), Vinservice (Italy) and Taprite (USA) was completed in August.

At the forefront of an ambitious growth strategy
Therefore, Lars Gjødsbøl is leading a group that is growing and undergoing an exciting development. Chairman of the Board Jørgen Jensen also points out that the choice of Lars Gjødsbøl is based on a strong belief that the new CEO is the right profile to lead the group in a global growth perspective.

Past at Junckers and Nilfisk
52-year-old Lars Gjødsbøl has been CEO of Junckers Industrier A/S since April 2020, where he took part in a successful turnaround. Prior to that, Lars spent 16 years at Nilfisk A/S, of which he was part of the group management team for 14 years. Lars also has a background as a consultant in the consulting firm McKinsey & Co and has an educational background as cand.merc.(jur.) from Copenhagen Business School.

Now he is looking forward to starting his work at Micro Matic.

Until the new CEO takes office on January 1, 2024, Anders Nørgaard will continue unchanged as interim CEO. From the turn of the year, Anders Nørgaard will continue in his role as CFO of Micro Matic.
