STARK Group employees and owner collect EUR 83,418 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine

In total, this amounted to EUR 83,418, which is now on its way to some of the 3 million people in need of humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
STARK Group will announce the donation today, 19 August 2022, which is the UN's annual World Humanitarian Day.
Chief Communications Officer of STARK Group, Kaspar Bach Habersaat, says:
"While EUR 83,000 is a drop in the ocean in terms of emergency aid, it is both timely and very welcome. As a company, we support the UN's work towards a fairer and more sustainable world through our membership of the UN Global Compact. This is a long-term effort. Our employees' collection for emergency aid to Ukraine helps contribute to better conditions here and now."
"I am proud that so many seized the opportunity to donate both large and small amounts to make what is a devastating situation just a little better. This was not the first time many had donated to emergency aid in Ukraine. I think what appealed to many people was that our owner, CVC, offered to double the amount that employees donated. So as employees, we thanked CVC for their generous offer by immediately donating to a worthy cause, where every single euro counts.”
