Committed bikers from Germany, France, Italy saddled up and gathered in force for the occasion of the “Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride” (DGR) 2015. Ladies and gentlemen alike took part in Rides all over the world. MotorradreifenDirekt.de (DE) and the online shops in France and Italy called on their communities to join one of Rides and to top up the donation bucket in the fight against prostate cancer.

From 7th to 30th September 2015, for every motorbike tyre sold in the Delticom online motorbike tyre shops in Germany, France and Italy, 1 euro was donated to the DGR initiative. During this time, countless fresh sets of motorbike tyres flew “over the counter” at MotorradreifenDirekt.de, pneus-moto.fr and moto-pneumatici.it. Along with its sister shops, MotorradreifenDirekt.de donated the princely sum of EUR 5,000 to the initiative, and would like to thank all the bikers who helped them to do so. More than 37,000 bikers from 410 cities and 79 countries heeded the call of the DGR 2015 and swung into action on their café racers, bobbers, flat trackers, scramblers and other such classic and retro custom bikes. The overwhelming participation of bikers, both ladies and gentlemen, paid off: nearly 2.3 million USD has been raised so far.
One biker from Germany, France and Italy respectively has also won a fresh set of METZLER Sportec Classic motorbike tyres . The team congratulates Mr. Matthias P. from Konstanz (DE), Monsieur Michael S. from Grimaud (FR) and Signore Simone S. from Parma (IT).
