3.9.2026 09:00:00 CEST | LEGO Fonden | Press release
Billund, Denmark | The LEGO Foundation today announced the appointment of Søren Fritzen to its Board of Directors, effective 1 September 2026.

Søren Fritzen is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company and an experienced international leader with more than 30 years of advising leading organisations on strategy, transformation and long-term performance. He brings extensive experience in helping organisations translate ambitious strategies into lasting impact - now bringing that experience to a mission he cares deeply about.
“Søren’s values and demeanour strongly align with the LEGO Foundation’s. His experience and unique insight into driving long-term, outcomes-focused processes in complex external environments will serve our mission to secure a better childhood for all children very well,” said Agnete Kirk Kristiansen, Chair of the LEGO Foundation Board of Directors.
“The LEGO Foundation’s mission speaks deeply to me. Few things matter more than giving children the opportunity to thrive, learn and develop the capabilities they need throughout life. I have been fortunate over more than three decades at McKinsey to work with organisations tackling complex, long-term challenges, and I hope to bring some of that experience to the Foundation. I am excited by the opportunity to contribute to the LEGO Foundation’s ambition to create lasting impact for children everywhere,” said Søren Fritzen.
He will attend his first Board meeting in September 2026.
