Domstolsstyrelsen, the Danish Court Administration, has signed a new IT operations contract with Aeven to strengthen the stability and service quality of the judicial system's digital infrastructure. Awarded through a public tender, the agreement covers continuous operations, commissioned projects, and cross-functional advisory services.

The Danish Court Administration has signed a new contract with Aeven for the courts' IT operations, marking an important step towards a more robust and efficient digital infrastructure in the judicial system. The contract, which is the result of a public tender, covers the provision of ongoing services, commissioned services and cross-cutting services.

The goal of the collaboration is to ensure robust, secure, and efficient operations. The contract supports the Danish Court Administration's modernization of IT operations, where development, operation and security are integrated from the start. This means greater stability and stronger built-in security in digital solutions.

"The collaboration with the Danish Court Administration is a good example of how we work closely with and advise our customers on both operation and modernization. With the new contract, we will have the opportunity to build on a good, long-standing partnership and contribute to ensuring that the judicial system's IT infrastructure is both reliable today and equipped for tomorrow," says Henrik Bodskov, CEO of Aeven.

The collaboration has been ongoing since 2014, first as part of NNIT, and later with Aeven as an independent supplier. Over the years, Aeven has been responsible for the operation of servers, IT infrastructure, Kubernetes platform and DevOps, as well as providing consulting, support and device administration, and thus supported the Danish Court Administration with both stable operational solutions and strategic guidance on the IT infrastructure of the future.

"The contract ensures a continued stable, secure and up-to-date operation of the courts' IT systems for the benefit of both the courts and the courts' users, including external users. Stable IT operations support efficient case processing and thus contribute to a high level of legal certainty in Denmark," says Martin Wood, IT Director at the Danish Court Administration.

The services in the contract cover:

  • Infrastructure and network operations
  • Implementing DevOps and DevSecOps
  • Application Operation and Maintenance
  • Device management and support
  • Consulting services in container technologies, cloud server operations and capacity planning
