Aeven's second annual report: Strong outlook following strategic investment year
28.4.2025 00:00:00 CEST | Aeven A/S | Press release
Today, Aeven Group presents its financial results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, marking a year of strategic investments, operational expansion, and momentum. Revenue for the year came in as expected, with key investments positioning the Group for long-term growth.

Following a transformative 2023 focused on establishing Aeven as a stand-alone company, 2024 marked a clear shift towards strengthening the Group's market position and organizational foundation. This past year, Aeven has broadened its presence in the European Union, while internally strengthening the organization with initiatives to support financial transparency, responsible business conduct, and creating an inclusive workplace - all in support of the core mission to deliver stable and secure IT operations to companies and institutions critical to Danish society.
The acquisition of Sentia and preparatory activities related to onboarding customers and new colleagues under the agreement with KMD are reflected in the financial results. While these efforts contributed to elevated one-off costs, they represent essential, non-recurring investments that support a foundation for scale and operational readiness.
Claus Dennig Jespersen, Chief Financial Officer, says:
"We have made the necessary investments to support scalable, high-quality operations. With strong foundations in place, our focus now shifts to profitable growth and value creation. We are investing today to deliver long-term value for customers, colleagues, and shareholders."
Key highlights from 2024
- Revenue of 1.59 billion DKK (increased from 904 mDKK in 2023)
- EBITDA margin of 6.9%
- The financial performance reflects strategic restructuring and costs related to the acquisition of Sentia and organizational scaling
Outlook for 2025
Looking ahead, Aeven expects revenue growth driven by the onboarding of new customers through the agreement with KMD, effective from May 1 this year, alongside an increased focus on hybrid cloud, network, and cybersecurity.
Henrik Bodskov, Chief Executive Officer, says:
"In Aeven, our mission has always been to be the leading provider of digital infrastructure to companies and institutions who serve as the backbone of Danish society. As we move forward and into 2025, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, and network will remain a top priority - and for good reason. Cyberattacks are becoming more sophisticated by the day, and attention to digital infrastructure is no longer just a technical concern, it is central to every business strategy."
