Prodalim Expands Solos Technology Platform in the United States with New California Operations

The new site marks a key milestone in the continued globalization of Solos, Prodalim’s patented aroma recovery and beverage innovation platform, and positions Solos at the center of one of the world’s most important wine-producing regions, strengthening collaboration with leading beverage producers.

This expansion follows the recent inauguration of the Solos Iberia facility and joint ventures in Germany and Switzerland, further strengthening Solos’ global platform.

California accounts for more than 80% of U.S. wine production, with approximately 2.5 billion liters produced annually, making it a global hub for wine production and beverage innovation.

The Hopland facility has an initial processing capacity of approximately 15 million liters per year, with expansion potential in the near term.

With this addition, Prodalim now operates four sites in the United States, including its Winter Garden, Florida headquarters and juice solutions hub, a Specialty Ingredients & Solutions R&D and production center, and juice terminals in Port Elizabeth, New Jersey and South Gate, California.

Through the Solos platform, Prodalim applies proprietary technologies to recover and recreate natural aroma compounds from fermented beverages, enabling producers to enhance authenticity and preserve sensory quality across evolving beverage categories.

The new operations support collaboration with producers across the Northern California ecosystem, including Rack & Riddle Holdings, LLC, the largest custom sparkling wine producer in the United States.

As part of its recent transformation, Prodalim has reorganized its operations into three purpose-driven divisions:

Juice Solutions – a one-stop-shop for juice producers, covering sourcing, logistics, formulation and blending

Specialty Ingredients & Solutions – delivering taste and functional ingredients such as FTNF, flavors, essential oils, citrus fibers and natural colors, supported by in-house R&D

SOLOS – a premium, patent-based de-alcoholization platform serving the fast-growing NoLo segment

All divisions are supported by Prodalim’s vertically integrated, regenerative supply chain, anchored in circular economy principles, enabling customers to innovate with sustainability and performance at their core.
