Columbus has recently earned the AI Platform on Microsoft Azure Specialization, a recognition that validates the company’s deep expertise in designing, building, and delivering production-ready artificial intelligence solutions on Microsoft Azure.

As part of Microsoft’s rigorous specialization program, Columbus underwent a comprehensive third-party audit assessing technical capability, governance, delivery quality, and customer impact. The company passed the audit with exceptional results, receiving no improvement suggestions or action items.

Columbus delivered 2% revenue growth in the second quarter of 2026 supported by strong demand within Data & AI and Enterprise Information Management. Activity levels improved during the quarter, strengthening Columbus’ position going into the second half of the year. “The improving momentum towards the end of the first quarter continued into Q2, where we returned to revenue growth and saw stronger customer activity. Profitability is not yet where we want it to be, but we are encouraged by the development in our pipeline and remain focused on improving efficiency and project profitability,” says CEO & President Søren Krogh Knudsen.
