Columbus has appointed Marthina Elmqvist as its new Corporate Communication Lead, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening brand visibility on a global scale.

Columbus has appointed Marthina Elmqvist as its new Corporate Communication Lead, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening brand visibility on a global scale.
With over 15 years of experience in PR and communication from various industries, Marthina Elmqvist joins the Columbus global organisation with the primary focus on external communication and PR. With her diverse background, spanning from publishing to IT, she has strategic and operative experience on how a successful communication and PR strategy can leverage a brand.
Commenting on the new appointment, Beatrice Silow said:
“By introducing a Corporate Communication Lead, we are adding a vital piece to Columbus’ brand-building and storytelling efforts, which will further strengthen our global ambitions. I believe the Columbus story is one worth telling, especially in connection to our values, great customer relationships and strong partnerships with leading tech platform vendors. I’m delighted to welcome Marthina to the team.”
As Corporate Communication Lead, Marthina will focus primarily on external communication and PR, supporting Columbus’ strategy as a trusted digital advisor that bridges business and technology. She will work closely with CMO Beatrice Silow and her marketing team to boost brand awareness, enhance storytelling, and support CEO Søren Krogh Knudsen and the broader leadership team in delivering impactful communication. She will operate on a global level based out of Columbus’ Malmö office in Sweden and the HQ office in Ballerup, Denmark.
Marthina Elmqvist also shared her excitement about joining the company:
“I’m very pleased that Columbus and I found each other, both on a business and cultural level, and I’m excited to contribute to the company’s next chapter. My focus will be on showcasing Columbus as a trusted thought leader and advisor and how we bring value and support to our customers on their digital journeys.”
Marthina’s most recent role was as Global Head of Marcoms at Telavox AB, which resulted in a notable increase in brand awareness and positioning in the IT space. Elmqvist also has a great track record of launching several well-known Swedish and Danish authors during her years running her own business and working with big publishing houses like Lindhardt & Ringhof in Denmark and Storytel in Sweden.
