STARK Group has appointed Thomas Ahle as its new Group Chief Financial Officer. He joins STARK Group from Danish Crown, a global leader in food production. Thomas Ahle has more than 20 years of international financial experience, including work in Germany, Mexico, and the Netherlands.

Prior to Danish Crown, Thomas Ahle has held positions in companies such as Cadbury Plc., Lantmännen, and Refresco, which produces beverages and provide complete end-to-end solutions from sourcing to logistics for some of the largest soft drink brands in Europe, the USA, and Australia.

Group CEO, Søren P. Olesen, says:

I look forward to working closely with Thomas Ahle. In a short time, we have gone from being a Nordic company to Europe’s largest retailer and distributor of building materials. With Thomas joining our team, we are confident that we can sustain our growth trajectory and leverage our strengths to the fullest.”

Thomas brings a wealth of international experience, a deep understanding of value creation, and a proven track record with acquisitions and integration. He has spent the majority of his career in companies that share many similarities with STARK Group,” says Søren P. Olesen.

Thomas Ahle says:

I am looking forward to getting started. The position at STARK Group presents a professional and managerial challenge that I find both challenging and exciting. The company’s growth journey has been remarkable, and I am eager to contribute to its ongoing development.

Thomas Ahle will take up the position of Group CFO on 1 September 2024 at the latest. He will succeed Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen, who has decided to step down to embark on a new journey as a board member and advisor.
