STARK Group unveils state-of-the-art branch in Sweden's second-largest city
STARK Group’s Swedish business, Beijer Byggmaterial, announces the inauguration of the first phase of building one of Sweden's most modern builders’ merchants. This marks a significant milestone as the largest single investment by Beijer in a facility and part of a substantial investment in the growth region around Gothenburg, which is Sweden’s second-largest city.

The refurbishment of the branch, which has stood at the same location since the 1950s, is a testament to Beijer's strategic efforts to fortify its presence in the western region. The branch strategically situates itself in the industrial hub of Hisings Backa, just north of central Gothenburg, ensuring accessibility for customers with all major roads converging near the location.
The construction is being carried out in two stages. The first part, the pick-up facility and accompanying branch is now inaugurated and open to customers. Stage two, the logistics facility, is expected to be completed by December 2024.
Upon completion of both stages, the branch will span nearly 22,000 square meters, featuring a 2,000 square meter store and approximately 6,000 square meters of warehouse space.
