Business community marks historic change of throne
For generations, the Danish business community has had a good and close collaboration with the regent and the Royal House in general, and therefore, preparations have been made for significant and visible celebrations of the change of throne on Sunday.

The Confederation of Danish Industry will use the entire domicile at Rådhuspladsen to say "Thank you" to Her Majesty The Queen and congratulations to the new royal couple in connection with the change of throne.
Already on Friday, DI will turn on the facade lights with a huge "Thank you", which will be visible to anyone passing Vesterbrogade and Rådhuspladsen. This happens on Friday at 16.00 and continues on Saturday.
On Sunday, immediately after the change of throne, the facade lights at Industriens Hus will be turned on with a huge "Congratulations" to congratulate the new royal couple.
From the air, a clear marking of the change of throne can be seen on top of Industriens Hus. The building's upper roof terrace will be decorated with large banners with photo statues of Her Majesty The Queen and the new royal couple - and also accompanied by a very large "Thank you" and "Congratulations".
The whole thing is filmed and photographed, and footage of the celebration is presented to the Royal House as a gift from the Confederation of Danish Industry to the outgoing majesty and the royal couple.
- The good and close cooperation between the Royal House and the business community is of great importance to our companies. We therefore naturally want to show our gratitude in a very visible way in connection with the change of throne.
- At the same time, we look forward to a continued strong and value-creating collaboration with the new royal couple," says Deputy CEO Thomas Bustrup, DI.
