STARK Group CFO Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen to step down later this year
Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen has decided to step down as CFO of STARK Group later this year to pursue a new career as a board member and advisor.
Having served as CFO of STARK Group for the past six years, Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen has been instrumental in the strategic and financial turnaround of the business and in bringing it back on the growth track under private equity ownership. Throughout her tenure, the Group has quadrupled its revenue by fueling its organic growth with 30 acquisitions and is today a European leader in retail and distribution of building materials to tradespeople.
In addition, Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen led the transaction of the STARK Group ownership from Lone Star Fund to CVC Capital Partners, which was completed in May 2021.
“I am pleased with how Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen has contributed to building a Group that is better and stronger. She has played an instrumental role in navigating recent years’ unpredictable market dynamics and our Group’s expansion into new markets. I have enjoyed her company and understand her motives for pursuing a career path that builds on and leverages her 30-year-long career in corporate life,” says Søren P. Olesen, CEO of STARK Group.
The announcement of a new Group CFO is expected before the summer. Sisse Fjelsted Rasmussen will act in her role until the end of September 2024.
