STARK Group growing in Denmark through acquisition in Jutland
13.11.2019 06:00:00 CET | STARK Group | Press release

STARK Denmark is taking over activities in SJAKK, including the inventory, selected equipment and access to the customer base and the legal obligations pertaining to all 80 employees.
The branches in SJAKK mainly serve professional customers, being small and medium-sized professional builders, which is in line with the overall STARK Group strategy to grow the SME customer segment.
“I am very pleased to announce this new acquisition in Denmark and to welcome another 80 Danish colleagues to the STARK Group family. The acquisition is an important step following our ambitious growth strategy and will provide a strong foothold in an important growth region in Denmark allowing us to offer even better service to our customers and further explore synergies and scale benefits as a group,” says Søren P. Olesen, CEO of STARK Group.
The acquisition of SJAKK activities will give both existing and new customers the opportunity to get the same high-quality products, services and advice as customers in the rest of the local markets, where STARK Group operate.
The agreement with SJAKK is the latest in a string of acquisitions STARK Group has made in Scandinavia and Germany the recent years, growing the company to be one of the leading distributors in the building material industry in Europe.
The completions of the SJAKK acquisitions are subject to necessary authority clearances, expected before the end of 2019.
