Lynge, Denmark, June 10, 2025 – WSA, a leading pure-play hearing healthcare group, today announced that Carsten Buhl, member of the Executive Committee and Executive Board of WSA, and President of its Americas Region, has decided to pursue a new career outside WSA and to leave the company on August 31, 2025. Carsten Buhl joined WSA in 2019, where he first served as President of the EMEA-LATAM-Canada region, next to being a member of WSA’s Group Management Team. In 2022 he was appointed President of the Americas Region. On July 5, 2024, WS Audiology identified an IT security incident involving unauthorized access to the local retail IT system of our Bloomhearing stores in Australia and New Zealand, which also included some data related to our retail operations in Hong Kong and Singapore. We want to reassure our customers and stakeholders that no other WS Audiology systems were affected, and business operations are running as usual across all regions. The unauthorized access temporarily affected operations in some of the impacted markets. However, our incident response team acted swiftly to contain the incident and restore systems shortly after the unauthorized access was discovered. Unfortunately, the threat actors had temporary access to personal data including that of hearing aid patients and employees. We have notified this to the relevant authorities in the affected countries and are in the process of informing all relevant individuals whose data were on the compromised servers. While we have not
