Worldwide Flight Services Appoints Francois Mirallie Group Chief Financial Officer
PARIS, FRANCE--(Marketwired - August 22, 2016) - Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), the world's largest air cargo handler and one of the leading providers of ground handling and technical services to the aviation industry, today announced the appointment of François Mirallié as Group Chief Financial Officer. He will assume his new responsibilities starting August 29, 2016.
Bastian Lueken, head of the European investment team at Platinum Equity, which acquired WFS last year, described Mr. Mirallié as a highly experienced CFO and ideal fit for the company.
"François has proven expertise in building and managing world-class finance teams and in helping to lead growing companies through exciting transitions," said Mr. Lueken. "He's a highly regarded French executive with global experience and has worked extensively with private equity sponsors to help build thriving businesses."
Mr. Mirallié was most recently Executive Vice President of Custom Sensors & Technologies (now renamed InnoVista Sensors), one of the world's leading suppliers of sensors, controls and actuators, with operations and business centers in fifteen countries. While there, he had responsibility for the company's global finance, legal and information technology functions.

In addition to Custom Sensors & Technologies, Mr. Mirallié has extensive experience as a Group CFO and has worked at several leading companies owned by private equity.
He was previously Executive Director and Group CFO at Zodiac Marine & Pool following the merger of Paris-based Zodiac Marine with Jandy Pool Products in the United States. He also served in Group CFO positions at Vizada Group and Medimedia in Paris, and Ion Beam Applications in Belgium.
Mr. Mirallié graduated from the Ecole des Mines de Paris and from the Wharton Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
