EDP sluttes sammen med VertigGIS og åbner nordisk marked

VertigGIS, en førende udbyder og softwareudvikler af geografiske informationssystemer (GIS), har gennemført erhvervelsen af 100 % af EDP Consult AB, en etableret leverandør af software og services med base i Staffanstorp i Sverige.

VertiGIS støttes af et globalt investeringsselskab med fokus på teknologi, Battery Ventures, der i 2017 begyndte at erhverve softwarevirksomheder inden for GIS- og positionsteknologi under sit varemærke.

EDP, der er bedst kendt for produkterne EDP Future, EDP Mobile og EDP Vision, udvikler og leverer software til svenske kommuner.
