The Danish Energy Agency has received two final offers in relation to the first tender of the Danish CCUS Fund
On March 31, 2023, the Danish Energy Agency received two final and binding offers from I/S Vestforbrænding and Ørsted Bioenergy & Thermal Power A/S.
The process has been carried out as a competitive tender procedure with negotiations with the three pre-qualified companies. All three companies have made a substantial effort in order to support the realization of the first full scale CCS value chain in Denmark and have contributed in a constructive manner throughout the negotiations with the Danish Energy Agency.
The Danish Energy Agency is highly satisfied with the competition displayed throughout the tender process. The Danish Energy Agency has now begun the process of evaluating the offers and expects to award a contract in May.
