STARK Group strengthens its market position in Sweden
100% Proffs, founded in 2003, has become a strong brand among the professional craftsmen in the Stockholm area. In recent years, the company has been run successfully and has had a strong development with dedicated employees, new customers and projects.
“I am very pleased to welcome 50 new employees to the Beijer family. Similar to Beijer, 100% Proffs has a strong focus on the professional craftsmen, and our new colleagues have succeeded very well with their strategy. We are really impressed with the position that 100% Proffs has created in the market, and we look forward to developing the business further with 100% Proffs on board,” says Geir Thomas Fossum, CEO of Beijer Byggmaterial.
Through the acquisition, Beijer will be able to provide an even stronger customer offering. The two branches fit perfectly into STARK Group’s strategy, focused primarily on serving small and medium-sized professional customers in the construction and renovation industry.
“The choice of Beijer as the new owner has been relatively simple, a modern run company with great competitive advantages, always at the forefront when it comes to building materials and service. Beijer’s intention is to continue to run 100% Proffs as before, with greater capacity and an increased focus on sustainability, digitalisation and logistics that meet market expectations,” says Fredrik Sölve, CEO of 100% Proffs.
The acquisition of 100% Proffs is expected to be completed in April 2022. The parties have chosen not to disclose the terms and price of the transaction.
