The Peruvian stand - located in the IFEMA MADRID American pavilion - welcomes both professionals from the tourism industry and anyone interested in the latest industry trends, including members of the general public wishing to discover this destination's travel offerings and new products.

“Attending this edition of FITUR gives us the opportunity to showcase a wide array of unique - yet climate responsible - experiences for visitors, taking a leading role in the conservation of the environment while at the same time contributing to the country's social and economic development”, said Amora Carbajal, CEO, PROMPERÚ.

Additionally, 26 Peruvian businesses are taking part in the fair to promote their tourist products and present an extensive offering of sustainability-focused cultural, adventure, and nature activities to over 100,000 international visitors. This is a way for Peruvian entrepreneurs to arrange important business meetings with industry professionals, with a view to securing business commitments at the end of the event.

In this light, a wide range of destinations are promoted, including the Amazon, Ancash, Arequipa, Cusco, Puno, Ica, Lambayeque, La Libertad, Lima, Madre de Dios and Loreto. This makes it possible to showcase the tourist attractions of different regions, focusing on open spaces with sustainable practices, with a view to boosting the country’s economic progress.

Committed to sustainability

Sustainability has become a vital element in development plans and programs in Peru. This is why PROMPERÚ reaffirms its commitment to climate change mitigation by joining the "Guardians of Nature" initiative of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

It should also be noted that Machu Picchu is the first Wonder of the World and the first international tourism destination to achieve carbon natural certification thanks to the close cooperation between local communities and both the public and private sectors.

Molecular Instruments, Inc. announced today that the Unified Patent Court (UPC) of the European Union has found that Molecular Instruments’ HCR™ RNA-ISH technology does not infringe two patents owned by Advanced Cell Diagnostics, Inc. (a Bio-Techne group company). In a 2024 lawsuit filed in the UPC (proceedings no.
