NEW GEORG JENSEN KOPPEL WATCH TO HELP JAPAN

Following the great success of the RED AMBUSH® Koppel Watch created by the Japanese creative duo Verbal & Yoon, Georg Jensen is extending the partnership and launching a colorful range of exclusive special edition Koppel Watches.

In spring 2011, Georg Jensen is launching the iconic AMBUSH® Koppel Watch as a special edition piece, available in crisp, vibrant red as well as blue, green and black. The RED Koppel Watch still goes backwards just like the original pendant launched recently in Tokyo. The watches are based on the original iconic pendant watch design by master designer Henning Koppel in 1981.

All profit from the sales of these special edition watches as well as the designer royalties will be collected by Danish Red Cross and transferred directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

As part of the HELP JAPAN campaign, customers in all Georg Jensen stores will find Georg Jensen/Red Cross Moneyphant piggybanks for further donations .

The new pendants supporting Japan will be launched exclusively 14th of April at 10 Corso Como in Milan followed by Dover Street Market in London. Furthermore the pendant will be available in selected Georg Jensen Flagship Stores from April 20th.
