Start of European Sales Expansion for Portable Ultrasound System in DACH Region’s Anesthesia Market

eZono Gains Three Anesthesia Distributors at DAC 2009

At the Deutsche Anästhesiecongress (DAC 2009) in Leipzig, eZono AG unveils three strategic agreements with anesthesia distributors. In Germany P.J. Dahlhausen & Co. GmbH will serve as eZono’s exclusive distributor. For Switzerland eZono has gained Theramed AG and for Austria Sanitas GmbH .

“This is an excellent start of our expansion in Europe. Since our partners’ specialists serve a relatively low number of hospitals per head, they support their clients daily, not just at system purchase. On top, their deep knowledge in anesthesia and intensive care enables our eZono™ 3000 ultrasound system to gain traction fast” says Robert Grüter, eZono’s Head of Sales & Marketing.

“As a result of our own nation-wide distribution network we know the market very well. Our customers are starting strongly to adopt sonography for regional anesthesia, now we can serve their demand with the innovative eZono™ 3000 ultrasound system.” says Ulrich Dahlhausen, CEO of P.J. Dahlhausen, Germany’s longest-serving anesthesia distributor.

“Due to the icon-based user interface and the workflow guidance, the eZono™ 3000 has an unprecedented ease of use. This enables us and our customers to adopt this sonography solution very effectively” adds Ludwig Bertignol, CEO of Sanitas GmbH.

“Our customers are very enthusiastic in particular about eZono’s Cue Cards , the patented multimedia training tools, which we believe will foster adoption of ultrasound-guided anaesthesia in Switzerland” concludes Severin Augstburger, Managing Director of Theramed.
