Unanimous Jury Selects Disruptive Technologies as the Winner of Norwegian Tech Award 2016
Disruptive Technologies today announced to have won Norway's most prestigious technology award, Norwegian Tech Award. Behind the price stands Teknisk Ukeblad, Nito and Tekna. The award was presented during a gala dinner at Gardermoen on Wednesday 19 October with 500 guests in the audience.
- Our wireless sensors are the size of a postage stamp and have 15 years of battery lifetime. They are Internet connected, such that everybody can use them with absolute simplicity. This is the true IoT, that is what the jury have seen, says Erik Fossum Færevaag, founder and CEO of Disruptive Technologies.
Disruptive Technologies has developed a complete IoT platform from sensor to cloud solution ready for developers to establish their own solutions, and encourage cooperation with innovative companies that want to use the technology. In addition to the unique sensors, the jury was impressed by the unique strategy with the cloud platform and services around the sensors.
