Cmed Clinical Services, an eClinical technology-led CRO, announced today the appointment of Graham Belgrave as Chief Operations Officer.

In this role, Belgrave will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day clinical operating activities. He will be based in the UK and brings to Cmed a wealth of experience in global Clinical Development, Strategy, Clinical Operations, Outsourcing and Project Management.

Belgrave joins Cmed from German Headquartered pharmaceutical company Grunenthal GmbH, where he was SVP Global Head Clinical Development, Science and Operations. Prior this, he has worked at companies such as Vernalis, Pfizer and GSK, and has worked in consultancy and interim management positions, including in Oncology at Roche. From a career spanning over 30 years, he has built a strong clinical operations and drug development background as well as successfully leading outsourcing and vendor management organizations. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (Oncology and clinical research sections) and he is an experienced chairperson, speaker and committee member of various industry congresses and symposia.
