Canna Therapeutic indgår historisk aftale om årlig produktion af 30 ton medicinsk cannabis

Canna Therapeutic i Stenløse indgår rekordstor aftale med det israelske selskab CannDoc, der sikrer den danske virksomheds forskningsenhed data fra 12 års patientresultater og en kontrakt på salg af optil 30 ton medicinsk cannabis årligt.

Canna Therapeutic i Stenløse indgår rekordstor aftale med det israelske selskab CannDoc. Aftalen sikrer Canna Therapeutics forskningsenhed data fra 12 års patientresultater hos det israelske selskab og en kontrakt på salg af op til 30 ton medicinsk cannabis årligt. Det europæiske marked ligger pt. på under 10 ton, hvilket understreger ordrens størrelse. Den danske virksomheds aftale med CannDoc vil sætte Danmark markant på verdenskortet indenfor produktion, forskning og udvikling af medicinsk cannabis.

”Samarbejdet mellem Canna Therapeutic og CannDoc er en milepæl for begge virksomheder og en gevinst for hele det europæiske marked indenfor medicinsk cannabis”, udtaler Ehud Barak, tidligere premierminister i Israel og formand for bestyrelsen i CannDoc. ”Vi er stolte og beærede over at gå sammen med Canna Therapeutic og sammen med dem fuldende missionen om, at imødekomme patienternes behov og styrke deres livskvalitet”.

Canna Therapeutic har pt. en produktionskapacitet på 3 ton, men går nu i gang med at udvide, så virksomheden i Stenløse kan levere 30 ton årligt. Som del af aftalen vil 10% af indtægterne blive allokeret til yderligere forskning indenfor medicinsk cannabis på Canna Therapeutics laboratorier i Stenløse.
