Share

With a capital commitment of €800m, ATP has established its seventh fund ATP PEP VII in the subsidiary Private Equity Partners (ATP PEP).

”ATP PEP has year after year provided a world-class return to our members and at the same time the team has been able to implement our increased requirements for ESG-integration in the investment processes and ensured that ATP’s tax policy has been implemented. Therefore, I am very pleased that we have entered into an agreement on another fund”, says Mikkel Svenstrup, CIO at ATP.

At the same time, ATP gives the team in ATP PEP the possibility to seek interest among other likeminded institutional investorstoparticipate in a parallel fund to ATP PEP VII.

”This in order to ensure a longer lasting business model where ATP achieves further savings and can still maintain a strong and competent investment team”, says Mikkel Svenstrup. In parallel ATP will work on obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.

”We are pleased with the launch of the seventh fund and are proud of the continued support from ATP and the opportunity to offer our service for the benefit of more investors,” says Torben Vangstrup, Managing Partner at ATP PEP.

The investment strategy for ATP PEP VII will largely be identical to the previous funds, with a special focus on private equity funds in Europe and North America and co-investments with these funds. ATP PEP VII will start investing with immediate effect.
