TechCrunch has today announced the 12 contestants competing at Startup Battlefield, taking place at this year’s highly anticipated TechCrunch Disrupt London.
Taking place at The Copper Box Arena in the Olympic Park, TechCrunch Disrupt London will bring together over 2,000 of the industry’s most high-profile thought-leaders, entrepreneurs innovators and VC’s, who will be offering the latest insights and hottest trends from the world of technology. This year’s conference will focus around topics including Brexit, AI and Fintech, with speakers including Martha Lane Fox, Matthew Hancock MP and Michael Lynch.
Startup Battlefield features the world’s most exciting early-stage startups, offering competitors a platform to pitch their business to an expert panel of judges. The winning contestant will be named on Tuesday 6th December, where they will be awarded the coveted Disrupt Cup and a £30,000 prize.
Since 2007, Battlefield has attracted 623 startups, and has raised a staggering $6.6 billion in funding. Previous participants include Yammer, Dropbox and Fitbit, as well as mobile search startup Vurb - who Snapchat acquired for over $100 million earlier this year.

TechCrunch Disrupt London 2016 is TechCrunch's annual conference in London. The format combines top thought-leader discussions with new product and company launches.
