RWS Group is pleased to announce that Sheena Dempsey has been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Translations, Inc., effective August 30, 2016. Sheena succeeds Mary Gawlicki, who along with Ted Gawlicki founded Corporate Translations in 1990 to fulfill the demand for high quality translation services in the life science industry. RWS Group’s medical translation division was integrated into Corporate Translations this year as part of the acquisition. Sheena will lead the RWS Life Science Division into its next phase of global success under the Corporate Translations brand.

Sheena Dempsey is not a stranger to either the language services or life science industries. For over 20 years, she has accumulated in-depth knowledge of translation services, including extensive experience in operational management, business development, and the specific requirements of the life science sector. She started her career at Siemens before advancing into her executive roles within Lionbridge in both Ireland and the United States. Before joining Corporate Translations, Sheena served as General Manager and Vice President of the Lionbridge Life Sciences Division with global responsibility for developing multilingual solutions for global life sciences sponsors.
