Automic , the leader in Business Automation software, today announced that Meezan Bank has successfully implemented Automic Workload Automation with the Temenos T24 banking application to significantly increase reliability and control, lower business risk and streamline business reporting. Since implementation, Meezan Bank’s use of automation has resulted in complete, compliant control over the close of business (COB) process.
For Meezan Bank, the key benefits of implementing Automic’s Temenos T24 solution include:
- Integrate seamlessly with their core banking application - Temenos T24
- Automate accounting processes, introducing immediate error detection and alerting
- Eliminate threats arising from an application security breach, data leakages and other issues associated with non-compliance
- Develop a layer between COB operators and T24 system administrators to avoid complication with super user rights
- Unified dashboard-based monitoring shrinks the COB process, ensures faster feedback to management/analysts and results in more accurate audit statements
- Overall increase in the visibility and control of COB processing
- Decreased business risk and IT admin costs reduced by half
Further, as Automic Workload Automation is highly scalable it can adapt easily to Meezan Bank’s growth — a business critical need for the client. With Automic, Meezan is able to automate all T24 jobs, and all of the growing number of surrounding jobs within its IT environment.
“We wanted complete, compliant control over our close of business processing, and the moment we saw the Automic solution for Temenos T24, we liked it. It integrates seamlessly with our T24 platform, regardless of the database, components or other attributes. Automic Workload Automation is highly scalable and can adapt easily to Meezan Bank’s growth—for example it has the flexibility to automate not just T24 but all the surrounding Applications,” explains Ali Imran Khan, SVP, IT Operations and Service Management at Meezan Bank.
Khan continued, “We were highly impressed with the experience, professionalism and approach of the Automic team. They took us through every step of the automation process and ensured a fast transition to go-live.”
“We are thrilled to work with Meezan Bank and deliver quality, timely and accurate close of business reporting. Our selection by Meezan Bank to automate the entire flow of reporting as well as integrate with Temenos is a testament to the heritage of success of our Automic Workload Automation product,” said Nabil Ben Abdallah, vice president of sales for the Middle East at Automic. “With Automic, Meezan Bank now has the reliability and consistency they require in order to become more efficient and responsive when completing their close of business process. These are crucial factors in the Financial Services sector, where any errors and delays can have a significant, direct impact on the organizations bottom-line. We look forward to extending our relationship with Meezan Bank and hope to continue to provide added value to their operations.”
