CA-SMARTRECRUITERS
SmartRecruiters , the Hiring Success Company, today announced the launch of an expanded leadership team in Europe to capture the large, unmet demand from European-based corporations for a modern enterprise applicant tracking system. According to IDG, the European recruitment software category is expected to reach $900M by 2019.
The new team will be led by two industry professionals with proven track records: Paris-based Eric Gellé, Vice President of Sales for Southern and Western Europe, and Robert Symons, serving as Vice President of Sales for the UK and Northern Europe in London.
Gellé brings more than 20 years of recruitment software industry experience, including stints at Avature, Lumesse and Oracle, to his role at SmartRecruiters. “My goal is to help make SmartRecruiters the new leader in talent acquisition,” said Gellé. “Our innovative platform drives competitive advantage in the way enterprises are recruiting today, so I’m thrilled to deliver this product to the European market.” His focus will be on increasing market share in the region, building a high-performing staff, and providing excellent customer support and service.
Formerly with SAP SuccessFactors and Lumesse and with more than 15 years of recruitment software industry experience, Symons said that his primary focus will be to increase SmartRecruiters market share and disrupt the recruitment technology marketplace in Europe by offering enterprise customers a talent acquisition suite which “delights users” and drives hiring success. “SmartRecruiters is a truly disruptive player, and I’ve joined a team that understands how to better serve organisations’ recruitment needs—with an agile, mobile and innovative recruitment platform.”
“The time is right to accelerate the growth of our footprint in Europe,” explained Brett Queener, SmartRecruiters President and COO. “SmartRecruiters is seeing unbelievable demand from some of Europe’s largest companies. It’s clear that the enterprise market is looking for something different, and that new approach is SmartRecruiters. We’re the disruptor, with a unique value proposition that heads of recruitment and human resource IT alike find extremely compelling. We are so fortunate to add Rob and Eric, undoubtedly two of the most experienced and talented European recruitment software leaders, to our management team.”

New pulp mill boosts Suzano's sales and revenue in the second quarter of 20257.8.2025 04:17:00 CEST | Press release
Suzano, the world’s largest pulp producer, announces its results for the second quarter of 2025 (2Q25), reporting sales of 3.7 million tonnes of pulp and paper. Sales increased 28% over the same period in 2024 (2Q24), mainly reflecting the strong operational contribution of the new Ribas do Rio Pardo pulp mill, whose production started in July 2024. Net revenue in the quarter totaled R$13.3 billion, a 16% increase compared to 2Q24. The expansion of pulp production capacity in Brazil, combined with the positive contribution to paper sales from the mills recently acquired in the United States and favorable FX rates, mitigated the impact on net revenue of lower pulp prices in the global market compared to 2Q24. As a result, Suzano's adjusted EBITDA reached R$6.1 billion and operating cash generation totaled R$4.1 billion. Net profit totaled R$5.0 billion positively impacted by the accounting impact of US dollar denominated debt and hedging operations translating into Brazilian Real. Beto

Company successfully initiates proceedings following Georgian court victories; UK injunction preserves status quo pending trial Aviator LLC today issued a statement clarifying the nature and scope of a recent UK court ruling following public statements made by SPRIBE OU regarding interim injunction proceedings. According to Nikoloz Gogilidze, legal representative for Aviator LLC, the recent court order was an interim injunction with limited scope and commercial impact. Gogilidze highlights the key points of the proceedings, which appear to have been mischaracterized in some media reports. Nature of the Court Order: The ruling represents an interim injunction granted at a preliminary procedural stage, not a final determination on the merits of the underlying dispute. Such orders are designed to maintain the status quo pending full trial proceedings. Commercial Impact: The injunction has no practical effect as neither Aviator LLC nor its IP rights licensee had any existing plans to enter
