Keyssa , a leader in high-speed, contactless connectivity, in collaboration with Fresco Logic, Pcase, Phison Electronics Corporation and Sure-Fire Electrical Corporation, today announced that the companies are making it easy for mobile users to quickly transfer large files from one device to another. The companies are designing an aftermarket product that enables blazing fast file transfers powered by Keyssa’s high-speed Kiss Connectivity. Additionally, the product concept expands the storage capabilities of devices such as smartphones, phablets, and tablets. Keyssa is showcasing a technology demonstration of this aftermarket product concept at Computex 2016 in Taiwan.

At the heart of the new solution are Keyssa’s Kiss Connectors—tiny, low-power, solid-state connectors that can be embedded inside a product, and can securely move huge files between devices. With Kiss Connectivity, Keyssa is unleashing a new era that will change the way devices communicate and free engineers to design devices in entirely new ways.

Many of the leading mobile devices in the market today do not offer users the ability to rapidly transfer data or provide storage expansion options. In fact, there are literally hundreds of millions of mobile devices that fall into this category. As a result, consumers are unable to easily and efficiently transfer content or move large files, like videos or movies, between devices. The problem is made worse by the fact that the only solutions currently available for memory expansion require users to attach an external device to a USB port. Keyssa, Fresco Logic, Pcase, Phison and Sure-Fire are solving this problem once and for all.
