SailPoint today announced it has earned additional industry analyst recognition as a leader in “The Forrester Wave™: Identity Management and Governance, Q2 2016,” from Forrester Research, Inc. For the report, Forrester conducted an exhaustive evaluation of nine vendors in the identity management and governance (IMG) market, including a 17-criteria evaluation of each IMG solution. After a thorough evaluation, SailPoint was the top ranked vendor in all three categories: Strategy, Current Offering and Market Presence.

According to Forrester, “SailPoint offers a solid and proven IMG solution.” In addition to being the top ranked for Current Offering, SailPoint IdentityIQ^TM earned the highest possible score (5.0 out of a possible 5.0) in five of the eight Current Offering sub-categories including user account provisioning, role management, access request management, and administration. For the Strategy evaluation, SailPoint scored a 5.0 in IMG strategy and vision, IMG partner ecosystem, and customer satisfaction. Finally, in Market Presence, the company scored a 5.0 in IMG customer installed base.
