ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - April 14, 2016) -  Aegex Technologies LLC has begun shipping a 4G LTE version of its globally certified intrinsically safe Windows 10 enterprise tablet in Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Canada.

In Q1 2016, the Aegex10 Intrinsically Safe Tablet became the first Windows 10 tablet to gain certifications for ATEX and IECEx Zone 1, UL 913 Class 1 Division 1 and CSA 22.2 areas of hazardous locations. These approvals made the Aegex10 the world's first Windows 10 tablet certified for HazLoc operations where high concentrations of flammable gases, vapors or dusts are likely to occur in normal operation, such as in oil and gas, chemical manufacturing, and other industries with highly explosive environments.

The Aegex10 4G LTE is now available to order in two variants: one for the United States and Canada, and one for Europe and the Middle East. With full roaming capabilities, the Aegex10 4G LTE is the only truly universal device for hazardous environments.
