L’Association du Sacré Cœur driver to plejehjem, et drop-in center og en række andre tilbud i Niort og Cherveux i det vestlige Frankrig. Organisationen, som har samarbejdet med Ascom flere gange tidligere, har nu igen rettet henvendelse til Ascom i forbindelse med et større moderniseringsprojekt.
-Vi er selvfølgelig først og fremmest glade for at hjælpe en organisation som L’Association du Sacré Cœur med at tage sig endnu bedre af sine beboere. Men ordren tydeliggør også, hvordan vi i Ascom over tid samarbejder med udbyderne inden for ældrepleje om hele tiden at forbedre kvalitet, beboersikkerhed og medarbejdertilfredshed, siger Philippe Billet, administrerende direktør, Ascom France.
L’Association du Sacré Cœur bestilte sin første Ascom løsning – et beboerkaldsystem – i 1992. I 1995 kom Ascom igen på banen, denne gang med et DECT-system. Den nye ordre indgår i et omfattende udvidelses- og renoveringsprojekt, organisationen påbegyndte i 2010, og omfatter en demenssikringsløsning og en opgradering af personalets trådløse håndsæt.
-Løsningen indeholder 30 trådløse Ascom teleCARE IP alarmsendere og en række trådløse positionsmeldere. Alarmsenderne er til beboere, som risikerer at miste orienteringen eller blive væk, og kan bæres enten om håndledet eller i en kæde om halsen. Systemet opsamler og sender præcise lokaliseringsdata til personalets håndsæt, så de kan reagere hurtigt og målrettet, hvis en beboer forlader prædefinerede områder indenfor de 11.000 kvm., som de to plejehjem tilsammen dækker, siger Philippe Billet.
Ordren indeholder derudover også en opdatering af Ascoms middleware-platform, som samler de forskellige komponenter i den trådløse kommunikationsløsning. Via middleware-platformen har L’Association du Sacré Cœur også adgang til event-logging, device management værktøjer og statistik over svartider.
-Ascoms kommunikationsløsninger er til stor gavn for vores beboere. Udrulningen af DECT-systemet gjorde det fx muligt for beboerne at kommunikere direkte med personalet. Vi har også målt reelle, målbare forbedringer i personalets svartider. Med implementeringen af demenssikringsløsningen forbedrer vi helt klart sikkerheden og livskvaliteten for vores beboere. De får nu frihed til at bevæge sig trygt rundt og deltage i det sociale liv, siger Jean Pierre Bacle, administrerende direktør for L’Association du Sacré Cœur.
Ascom og L’Association du Sacré Cœur samarbejder i øjeblikket om at udvikle en kombineret WiFi- og GSM-baseret løsning.
-Denne type løsning kan få stor, positiv indflydelse på plejepraksis. Fx vil det, at personalet kan modtage kliniske data og alarmer på deres håndsæt, gøre det muligt for nogle beboere at blive længere i ejet hjem. Det har en stor værdi for de ældre at kunne blive i egen bolig med værdighed, komfort og sikkerhed. Den kommende løsning spiller en vigtig rolle heri, siger Philippe Billet.
