BORDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - March 14, 2016) - Â Leader in automotive integration technologies, Autoleads, is pleased to announce the arrival of its new TechConnect wireless charging range.
The TechConnect range of wireless charging solutions uses the qi wireless platform to enable fast and safe cable-free charging of a smartphone or tablet. Wireless charging comes in two parts, a receiver which enables the phone to receive a wireless charge, and a separate hub which transmits the charge. For those with phones already enabled for wireless charging, only the charging hub is required.Â
Owners of compatible smartphones will appreciate how simple it is to charge their phones, as iPhone 5/6/6plus users can make use of a receiver case which means that once within the case, they need only place their phone on the wireless transmitter/hub. Alternatively users can attached a wireless charging coil and retain their own case.Â
Samsung users need only connect a receiver coil to the existing wireless charging connectors under their phone case on the back of the phone to benefit from wireless charging. Other Android users will not miss out on wireless charging, as receiver coils with Micro USB port connections are also available.
The wireless transmitters or hubs, come in three forms -- an in-car phone holder and charger, a portable travel charger and powerbank for use on the go, and a wired hub for use at home or in the office.
Shaun Findley, General Manager of Autoleads, said: "These three handy hub solutions ensure that phone owners need never run out of charge. Our wireless chargers also dispense with the messy charging cables and fiddly connectors, leaving a clean and sleek aesthetic."
