VA-DELTEK
Deltek , the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for project-based businesses, announced today that it was named the winner of The ERP Award at Forretningssystemer 2015 – Denmark’s largest conference on mission critical business solutions. The award, given on an annual basis, recognizes the company with the most successful implementation; Deltek was recognized for its work helping leading Danish consulting company Alectia go live on Deltek ERP.
Forretningssystemer 2015 was held in Herning, Denmark, and hosted over 450 attendees, exhibitors and speakers. Deltek participated as an exhibitor and speaker along with the biggest names in ERP including Microsoft Dynamics AX/NAV Partners, IFS, Unit4, SAP and E-conomic.
The ERP Award was given during the Forretningssystemer 2015 conference to the company and customer that carried out the most successful implementation. Deltek was among the three finalists alongside IFS and its customer Maersk Drilling, and Bredana (MS Partner) along with its customer Bogense Plast. The judging panel made up of independent professionals, considered several factors including: the size and complexity of the project, the project preparation phase, the customer’s involvement, and how successful the project was at being completed on-time and on-budget. Deltek and Alectia were named the winner for its successful implementation of Deltek Maconomy, Deltek People Planner and Deltek Touch for Maconomy, replacing Alectia’s previous system, SAP.
“Congratulations to everyone at Deltek and Alectia for a job well done! A project of this size is no easy feat – but thanks to Deltek’s deep industry knowledge and unmatched ERP capabilities built for professional services firms, we were able to successfully get Alectia up and running on Deltek – on time and on budget. A special thanks goes out to those that worked diligently on this project to see it across the finish line, including the implementation team,” said Stefan Grahn, Vice President of Sales at Deltek.
“We chose the Maconomy solution from Deltek based on criteria such as usability and flexibility. Our business is based on selling man-hours from our 700 employees which means that time recording has to be user friendly, intuitive and easy to handle. Time recording had to be accurate and easily accessible, our project managers needed real-time visibility into the profitability of their projects, and we needed to make it easier for our managers to get a quick overview of progress on individual projects. We now have all of that with Deltek,” said Heine Thorsgaard, CFO, Alectia A/S.
