Ascom Wireless Solutions og Ekahau, en førende udbyder af Real Time Location Systems (RTLS), meddeler, at Ascom Myco smartphone nu er kompatibel med Ekahau RTLS. Verdens første specialudviklet smartphone til sundhedssektoren, Ascom Myco, er et avanceret informationssystem, som kombinerer alsidighed, holdbarhed og brugervenlighed i én håndholdt enhed. Ascom Myco er designet specifikt til plejepersonale, og brugerne kan nu også få glæde af Ekahau RTLS-lokationsfunktionalitet.
RFID-over-Wi-Fi™-teknologien som er udviklet og ejet af Ekahau, udsender data om, hvor personer og udstyr befinder sig. Disse data kan give fx hospitaler vigtig viden i realtid.
