Ys Net Inc, as represented by Yu Suzuki, has announced today the start of an additional funding campaign through a special page on the official Shenmue III website. This campaign will be both in English and in Japanese, and will accept PayPal as well as credit card payments.

This July, on the world’s largest crowdfunding site, Kickstarter, Shenmue III succeeded in becoming the highest funded project in the Video Game category with $6.33 million.

This additional campaign comes as a response to include those who could not support the previous campaign for various reasons, citing a lack of payment options, or not having an opportunity to pledge before the campaign had ended.

Popular rewards from the Kickstarter campaign, like the $100 “Get your name in the credits” reward, the $300 Yu Suzuki signed illustration reward, and the $500 limited edition figure set reward, will be back.

This campaign will also feature physical game package designs, different from the Kickstarter versions.

The new campaign will continue to add on to the “Stretch Goals” laid out in the July Kickstarter, where additional funding will contribute to further game development, and give previous supporters a vested interest in the ongoing campaign.

The campaign period is scheduled to end at 12:00 AM on December 31^st , 2015.
