HPC Advisory Council Announces 4th Annual Spain Supercomputing Conference

The HPC Advisory Council, a leading organization for high-performance computing research, outreach and education, today announced that the HPC Advisory Council, in conjunction with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, will host the 4th Annual HPC Advisory Council Spain Conference 2015 at the Campus Diagonal Nord in Barcelona, Spain, on September 22, 2015. Speaker and sponsorship opportunities are available. Please make sure to register early to ensure your seat at the conference. The conference will focus on the following subjects:

  • High-performance computing systems
  • High-speed networks
  • High-performance and parallel I/O
  • Communication libraries: MPI, SHMEM, PGAS
  • Advanced topics / technologies / development / the road to Exascale
  • GPU computing
  • New HPC initiatives and programs

In conjunction with the HPC Advisory Council Spain Conference, the Spanish Supercomputing network will be celebrating its 9th RES Users Meeting the following day on September 23rd .

The RES’s technical management is coordinated by the BSC-CNS and answers the scientific community’s growing need for supercomputing.
