At the PayForum event, Sopra Banking Software, a global leader in software and services for banks and financial institutions, has won a PayForum Award 2015 for the multi-service HeliPay platform it jointly developed with Axway.
Back in 2014, Sopra Banking Software already won a PayForum Award in the ‘Mobile Payment’ category for its digital wallet management solution, SkyBy. In the 2015 edition, Sopra Banking has again won an award, this time for the multi-service HeliPay, which it developed together with Axway. Both these awards underscore Sopra Banking’s position as an innovator in the payment area.
Because payment instruments are harmonized at a European level since the introduction of SEPA, banks have to offer a broader range of payment services. In this context, HeliPay allows banks to offer innovative services to its customers such as taking care of invoices, signatures for electronic levies, identity verification as well as P2P payment and mobile services. In particular, HeliPay supports French banking offers within the framework of Sepamail.
