Lapolla Industries, Inc. (“Lapolla”) (OTCQB:LPAD), a Houston-based global supplier and manufacturer of spray polyurethane foam insulation, reflective roof coatings, and equipment designed to reduce energy consumption in the residential, industrial and commercial markets, today announced new distribution deals in key European and South American markets. The Company has secured new distributors in the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Brazil, and has strengthened supply chain capabilities in Estonia for service throughout the region.
This announcement follows Lapolla’s successful showings at the International Builder’s Show and Spray Foam Alliance Conference (SPFA), where home improvement expert Ty Pennington joined the Company to promote its FOAM-LOK 2000 4G Spray Foam Insulation product and delivered the keynote address at SPFA. During the trade shows, insulators from around the world tested and praised Lapolla’s new 4G wall insulation product, FOAM-LOK 2000 4G. Lapolla will display and demonstrate its 4G spray foam roofing system during the upcoming International Roofing Expo in New Orleans, LA. The White House recently recognized the potential of FOAM-LOK 2000 4G to significantly lower global greenhouse gas emissions, when it selected Lapolla to become an official private sector partner of President Obama’s Climate Action Plan. Lapolla has committed to transition its entire line of foam and coating systems to no longer use high-GWP HFCs by 2016.
“While the core of our business has traditionally been in North America, developers and homeowners all over the world desire the same thing – the highest-quality, innovative products that increase the value and the comfort of their properties,” said Doug Kramer, President and CEO of Lapolla. “We are excited that these new distribution partnerships will allow us to expand our product offerings to new global markets, strengthen our global supply chain, and build lasting relationships with new European and South American customers.”
Lapolla’s foam products include spray foam insulation for residential and commercial perimeter walls, crawl spaces and attic space applications. The company also supplies spray foam and elastomeric coatings for low slope residential and commercial roofing.
