Ascom, en førende leverandør af ICT-løsninger til sundhedssektoren, er af SIEVERS GROUP blevet udpeget til at implementere en avanceret IP-DECT-kommunikationsløsning på alle tre hospitaler under sammenslutningen af Katolske Hospitaler (KHO) i det østlige Westfalen.

Ascom har i tæt samarbejde med klienten designet en IP-DECT-løsning, som er specielt tilpasset behovene i de tre hospitaler, så det bliver muligt at sende alarmer og information direkte til medarbejdernes mobile enheder. I fremtiden vil det også være muligt at sende alarmer fra medicinsk udstyr og patientovervågningssystemer.
Løsningen indeholder omkring 180 basestationer fordelt på de tre hospitaler og Ascom IP-DECT-håndsæt med intuitiv brugergrænseflade og stort display, som forenkler håndteringen. Håndsættene er kendetegnet ved høj pålidelighed og innovative funktioner som f.eks. avanceret alarmfunktionalitet, alarmprioritering og lokalisering. De er særligt robuste og vandafvisende.
