SEATTLE, 2015-02-09 18:33 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The MRC, leading association for professionals within ecommerce payments and fraud, announced today that Pete Pouridis, vice president, loss prevention of The Neiman Marcus Group has been appointed to Chairman of MRC's Global Board of Directors. Mr. Pouridis has been elected to chairman after 15 years of dedicated volunteering with the MRC, 10 of which he spent on the Global and Regional Boards in various capacities.

"The MRC is proud to see Mr. Pouridis selected as Chairman of the Board. His perseverance and dedication will help drive the association into 2015," said Danielle Nagao, chief executive officer of the MRC.

In addition to the appointment of Mr. Pouridis, The MRC would like to welcome Diarmuid Considine, commerce platform manager at Skype, Paul Kuykendall, senior director-product\ticketing at Ticketmaster, and Gabe McGloin, vice president of client services at Chase Paymentech to the Global Board of Directors. They will be joining the existing board members including distinguished professionals from Accertify, Inc., Getty Images, Starbucks, Visa Europe and WorldPay.
