The seventh annual Biotech Showcase™ investor conference will be held January 12–14, 2015 in San Francisco, CA at Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco - Union Square. The event brings executive-level delegates representing top public and private investment firms with the goal to meet management teams of biotechnology and life science companies, including therapeutic companies, specialty pharma, platform and molecular diagnostic companies.

A pre-event BioMentorz Workshop entitled “The tactics of closing funding deals” will be held on Sunday, January 11. The workshop is designed for junior executives and is focused on strategic discussion and delivering results for securing funding at all levels. Pre-registration for the BioMentorz workshop is separate from the main Biotech Showcase registration.
On Monday, January 12, Biotech Showcase officially kicks off with morning workshops and the highly anticipated Alliance for Regenerative Medicine “State of the Industry Briefing,” followed by the opening Lunch Plenary entitled “Value creation: Private and Public investment strategies and stage gates for success.” The plenary will be moderated by Mike Griffith – Executive VP Commercial Division, inVentiv Health with panelists Stephen Bloch – General Partner, Canaan Partners; Ross Hammerman – Managing Director, UBS Investment Bank; John V. Oyler – Founder and CEO, BeiGene; and Melinda Richter – Head of Janssen Labs, Janssen Research & Development, LLC.
The highlight of the event and the primary draw for investors and pharma attending are the public and private company presentations taking place over three days. The presentations are broadly categorized into stage of financing and company type/focus area.
Biotech Showcase is co-produced annually by Demy-Colton Life Science Advisors and EBD Group. Both organizations have a long history of providing high quality business support programs and services to the biotechnology industry.
Participants of Biotech Showcase include qualified private and public equity investors, industry analysts, bankers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry executives as well as other industry professionals. The 2014 edition attracted more than 1,700 attendees and featured 242 corporate presentations as well as a compelling program that addressed topics on investment and financing, progress in disease areas and business development trends.
