Vertical solutions in Retail, Logistics and Manufacturing

Over the last few years the Office Document Technology industry has become increasingly competitive. Toshiba Tec has been dedicated to these important industries and sections as well.

These sites are often critical to the operations of their respective organizations.

Toshiba Tec will offer compelling solutions that help these individual entities to succeed in achieving greater efficiency and performance in all related operational processes. Being the Global No. 1 Supplier of POS systems, Toshiba Tec is in an exceptional position to utilize its comprehensive market knowledge of the retail industry. Additionally Toshiba Tec’s paper reusing system, which enables toner to be printed on and erased from temporary used paper as well as regular office paper multiple times, enables customers to reuse precious resources wisely and sustainably. According to Toshiba Tec’s estimation in the case of No.1 global retailer, using this system to print picking lists would save approximately 26 million Dollars annually at all their stores across the United States and their suppliers’ operation facilities.

Based on the wide-ranging and in-depth experience combined with the leading edge know-how of Toshiba group, Toshiba Tec’s advantage is further strengthened in both the manufacturing and supply chain arena. For example, in the warehouse of a writing instrument manufacturer paper consumption has been reduced by more than 90 percent.

Only Toshiba Tec is able to provide such unique and exciting services to the market. Toshiba Tec has the ability to offer valuable turnkey solutions and products to improve customers’ processes and augment work efficiency at operational sites. ECO Solution for Sustainable Business

Organizations around the world are trying to be more environmentally conscious while at the same time increasing profit with limited resources and energy. As one of the world’s foremost eco-companies, Toshiba Tec has been putting into practice “Green activities” that promote harmony with Mother Earth. The Toshiba Tec Printing Solutions is committed long term to nurturing green printing where the use of paper based documents is unavoidable, in the retail businesses, logistics operations, manufacturing facilities and other B2B operations, across the globe.

With the 2013 launch of the e-STUDIO306LP/RD30, the world's first eco–friendly MFP system, Toshiba Tec provides customers an MFP that operates with re-usable paper. By reusing paper multiple times it enables users to decrease environmental destruction, and will also help saving paper cost.

In addition to the eco-friendly MFP system, Toshiba Tec will reinforce its managed services focused on green. Managed Document Services (MDS) is a key solution to optimize the printing environment to improve customers’ workflow, and Toshiba Tec will enhance its MDS to “ECO-MDS” which is a more eco-friendly solution. Besides the current MDS which includes print and device management, Toshiba Tec’s “ECO-MDS” manages environment around customers by combining its eco-friendly products, functions, and every other element. For example, the paper reusing system to reduce paper consumption, or the ribbon saving mode of the barcode printers that also save supplies. Energy and power management systems are also included in this ECO-MDS.

With the strategy of “Unique Differentiations”, concentrating on vertical solutions and Eco solutions, Toshiba Tec is striving to provide unique printing technology that helps customers to achieve their goals. And the same passion goes into how we are committed to a green earth.
