Leading Chinese Construction Software Company Glodon Signs MoU with VTT and Establishes European Operations in Finland

Glodon attaches great importance to R&D and technology system construction. Together with the Memorandum of Understanding with VTT and the plans for the establishment of European headquarters in Finland, Glodon communicates keen interest in further investment in Finland. Both Glodon and VTT have extensive experience in research and development of building information modelling (BIM).

Glodon’s European Headquarters and R&D Center in Finland

Glodon recently acquired Progman, a leading MEP software company based in Rauma. Today Glodon announced their plan to base European headquarters in Finland. This will include functions, among others, for Research and Development, Sales and Marketing, as well as a Technical Support and Service Center. The new functions will offer more job opportunities in Finland.

Glodon will localise its products for the European markets, and develop and register more IPRs locally. Sales of Glodon’s products in Europe will be lead from Progman, and efforts will be made to develop more European and global country markets.

Glodon will also continue discussions with other Finnish companies for technology and product cooperation. Glodon will further cooperate with companies and universities in Finland, benefit business development in Finland and Europe, and make more contributions to Finland.

Progman’s Business Development

Glodon will keep Progman’s product R&D in Finland, and invest more capital into the company. This will enable Progman to increase localization processes for European markets and to develop new business also in Finland.

Glodon considers Progman as a platform for further cooperation and M&A in Europe.
